Battle of the Bands

Helen Martin, Brentford's own music impresario is bringing the cream of local talent to Watermans stage to battle it out.

Steve Parry – Dazzle Sound Productions, music producer and sound engineer
Phil Martin – rock/acoustic musician, composer and guitar teacher
Young people who entered the Youth Battle in 2011
Lorraine Reeves of Mudkiss fanzine

Prizes

1^st: 6 hour recording session with Steve (Dazzle Sound Productions) at the Arts Centre and be interviewed for Mudkiss  www.mudkiss.com

2^nd  2 full band guitar/music workshops with Phil Martin

In the event of a large number of bands entering the competition, selections will be made which will ensure a cross section of styles of music/performance.

Age: you must be 20 years or over at the time of the competition.

You must provide a reliable e-mail address and phone number for one main contact person in your band so I can let you know if you are successful and also keep you up to date with information eg re:  timetable for soundchecking.

You will be notified on or by 13^th Feb 2012 whether your application was successful.

Tickets will be £10 each for everyone whether performing or watching and will go on sale on 15^th February 2012
