Mela Carnival Summer School Workshops

How do you like the idea of creating your own gorgeous costume or building a giant puppet, or creating a comic character on stilts or learning a special processional Bollywood dance? Or would you like to try everything on offer. Well you can!

This year the 02 London Mela celebrates its 10th birthday and wants to mark the occasion in style with a spectacular carnival and is looking for enthusiastic, energetic, creative young people aged 9 – 13 who would like to be part of the 2012 Carnival Parade. Artists from Emergency Exit Arts and Nutkhut, two of the UK's leading outdoor carnival and street theatre companies, will be on hand to make sure you have four days jam-packed with fun and creativity.
