Chris Smith’s life is in danger, so he decides to kill his evil mother for the insurance policy money. The man for the job is hitman, Killer Joe Cooper (Matthew McConaughey) cop by day and a killer on the side. This is a dark but funny film with McConanghey in one of his best performance to date.
