An enthralling, poetic story of obsession, memory and forbidden romance in two parts. The film begins with the daily life of kind Pilar and her elderly neighbour,  Auroa living in Lisbon, Portugal. Unfortunately Aurora becomes ill and is hospitalised and gives Pilar a message to pass onto her lover Gian Luca, to let him know that she is ill. It is then we are taken back to the younger days of Aurora when she was living in Africa in Mount Tabu.
