The Perks of Being A Wallflower (12A)

This is a funny coming-of-age film based on the best-selling novel by Stephen Chbosky and his huge fan-base will be happy to know that he has adapted and directed it for the screen himself.  It stars Emma Watson, Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller. 15 year old Charlie (Lerman) is starting his first day at his new school and finds it difficult to settle in as he has always seen himself to be a bit of an outcast. But it is not long before he makes friends with two other people very much like himself. It is a moving tale about love, loss, fear and all the things you experience while growing up as a teenager.
